Two ways to find what shouldn't be there
Most hidden cameras give themselves away in one of two ways: they transmit a
wireless signal, or their lens reflects light. AllClear looks for both.
RF scanning picks up the wireless signal from active cameras, microphones and
GPS trackers — across the 1.2 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands where most devices
broadcast.
Infrared lens detection finds the camera itself. Look through the red viewfinder
and any lens in the room lights up as a bright point — even if the device is
switched off.
